On Monday, students participated in an annual Shakespeare competition. The competition is through the English Speaking Union, and the winner of the school competition moves on to a regional competition in February.
This year, Mary Wang ’26 won the competition with a smashing monologue from King John, performed by Blanche. At the regional competition, Wang will perform this monologue as well as a sonnet, selected at a later date
Wang is excited for this challenge. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to perform with other amazing students at the regional competition,” she said.
