As the year comes to a close, Monday, The Gator released a design update to highlight featured content.

We hope that the new element, “FEATURED,” which appears below the main slider, will make the site’s navigation even easier. This feature will also allow for quicker access to posts set to deliver upcoming coverage, such as GNN Live events.

The newsroom also introduced a “FRESH” tab, to differentiate the different content users are enjoying.

Lastly, to improve navigation of the main slider, users can now click on thumbnail images below for easier navigation.

Next fall, The Gator hopes to make additional design updates, especially as more content is added to the site.
