Under the leadership of President Emma Hastings ’19, the Upper School Senate is organizing a haunted house event this Friday at 7-9 p.m in the Hastings Center.
Class Representative Chloe Cochener ’19 is looking forward to the spookfest, a tradition which began four years ago under then-Senate President Sarah Smith ’16. Last year, however, the Senate changed things up and hosted a movie night, which was not as well attended.
Once again, the free-of-charge event is being designed by Trevor Sullivan ’11, founder of a live entertainment horror production company, Darkness Within.
“We’re hoping because it’s the haunted house again, more people will show up,” Cochener said.
The event will be different and even scarier this year, Cochener said, as Sullivan is eager to transform the new Hastings Center into a part of the scary fun.
The Senate is still looking for scare actors, who will receive community service credit hours. Contact Hastings or Cochener if you’re interesting in participating.
