How long have you been working at Brimmer?
This is my 21st year at Brimmer and May.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is helping kids talk through the tricky moments they experience in this tricky part of their lives.
What is your favorite lesson to teach?
I would say probably adolescent psychology and neurobiology as it pertains to Romeo and Juliet.
What do you like to do outside of school?
I like to travel, cook, and read.
What is your favorite book?
That is a very difficult question and it probably changes day-to-day. If I had to pick the book I have read the most for pleasure, it would Eight Men Out by Eliot Asinof.
Who is someone you look up to?
It would be one of my college professors, Robert Hupp, who taught me that you can have high expectations with someone and still treat them with respect.

Never take yourself too seriously.
