One month into the second semester, Upper School electives are finishing up their first projects. In Drawing II, students created an Auto-Line drawing using lines and repeating patterns of unique shapes.
Artists in Painting I used acrylic paint on a corrugated cardboard surface to create a multidimensional mixed media piece. In Advanced Drawing and Painting, students created still life paintings of everyday objects.
In Geometry, Director of Innovation and Design Kathryn Lee spearheaded a new project with teacher Rupa Houndegla to create lampshades featuring geometric shapes, which were cut out with a laser cutter.
