Students Learn Through Risk

Students+Learn+Through+Risk

Students in International Relations, taught by Upper School Head Joe Iuliano, are taking game-based learning to a serious level. They are currently playing Hasboro’s popular board game Risk, as they laugh, scheme and point fingers. These students couldn’t be more engaged. “They are learning about diplomacy, power-grabs and what it takes to get and stay on top,” says Iluiano, who is a big fan of using games to engage students in intrinsic learning.
