Students who visited China for Winterim last year adopted a Panda they named “Brimmer,” and fresh photos of the cute creature were recently shared with the School.

“We like to think that Brimmer the panda is thinking about us while he is eating his bamboo in Sichuan, China.” said Mandarin teacher Francis Fremont-Smith, who receives frequent updates.

Fremont-Smith reports that Brimmer, known as Nian Nian in Chinese, weighs about 72 pounds.
