What are the most important things you consider when picking out your outfit for the day?
Whenever I pick an outfit for the day I start off with the shoes because if it rains I won’t wear my newest one. So whatever the weather is it’ll determine my outfit.
What is your favorite article of clothing?
My favorite article of clothing would be hoodies. They go with anything and are always comfortable to just throw on whenever.
What stores/websites do you like to shop at?
I love to shop at Hollister, they always have the perfect jeans for me and nice shirts to go with them. Also they have comfortable sweatpants and other clothing items that other stores don’t have, at least with the same quality as well. Also Pink, everything they sell, to me, is comfortable. Their leggings, sweatpants, and sweaters are like no other store.
Are you able to dress easily everyday without thinking about the dress code? How would you dress differently if the school did not have a dress code?
Before I go to sleep every night I think of what I am going to wear to school. I would love to show up a couple of days of the year in sweatpants, but then I always remember the dress code. Also I wished crop tops were not such a big deal because sometimes my shirts are just too small and I cannot control that. However, the dress code to me is somewhat understandable and can agree on some things.
Do you prefer online shopping or street shopping? Why?
I prefer street shopping because the pictures online are not always accurate and if I wanted to try a certain size on I could. Some stores run big or small, but in order to tell you have to try it on. Also some clearance sales only happen in store, and it’s always important to spend money wisely.
How does your style reflect your personality?
I think my style is kind of “tomboyish” sometimes and for me I don’t like all things girly and it definitely shows in clothes. However, sometimes I can be sassy and it also shows. There never really is an in between and if you know me you’d say there never really is a mediocre Ayanna, the same with how I dress.
