The School’s annual Green and White auction be held this Saturday at 6 p.m. In the virtual event, community members have the opportunity to bid and offer items to raise money for the School.

Director of Alumni Affairs and Special Events Amanda Frank ’88 organizes the event each year.

“We have had an annual spring auction for at least the last 15 years, and each year the funds are raised for financial aid, plus another at the School in which is decided needs additional funds that benefit the entire student body,” Frank said. “This year, the additional funds raised will be for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives school-wide.”

Items in this year’s auction range from travel packages to vacation houses, dinner parties, and cooking classes.

The School will also welcome donations in addition to the live auction. A $100 donation will provide an event gift box for two people. A $50 donation comes with a gift box for one person or a sponsor for a faculty member.

Assistant Head of Academic Affairs Joe Iuliano is excited to see what this year’s event will be like.

“I have gone to the auction in past years, but this year will be different because it’s on Zoom,” Iuliano said. “I think attending from home will be more comfortable, and I can’t wait to see the items up for bid.”

This auction has many coveted items up for bidding, and the proceeds will go directly to the School.
