“Even during a prolonged pandemic, Gator staffers are producing award-winning content,” Cutler said. “Nico and Marlie should feel tremendously proud of this national recognition, which is akin to being placed on the shortlist for a Pulitzer Prize. Nico and Marlie’s well-deserved accolades also speaks volumes of the overall quality of the publication, and I’m simply beaming with pride.”
Earlier today, the newsroom also earned its fifth consecutive Gold Medal-ranking from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
