My Rock Climbing Journey
What makes a good climber isn’t the ability to be fearless or never make mistakes. It’s to keep climbing even when you’re scared and think you can’t continue.

An enjoyable presentation of your sport of choice, Amelia. Brimmer has included “climbing” (ropes course work, mainly) in its opening camp trips for the past two decades but the pandemic has not allowed this during the past two years. This is not quite the same as your pursuits, however, which look quite daring and require strength, stamina, and strategy. Brimmer’s Class of 2018 included an accomplished speed climber, and I am happy to see another student-athlete pursuing this sport and writing so thoughtfully about it.
