During Upper School Lunch today, the senior class will host a valentine’s day candy event.
Students can send a candy gram for $3 each to their loved ones, and they can choose between anonymous or not. The gifts will be delivered to the receivers on Friday, February 14.
Students can also pay $3 to purchase cotton candy. All earnings from this sale would support the annual Senior gift.
Varying from past senior fundraiser events such as bake sales and field day pies, the senior senate members decided to try something creative.
Senior Class President Chloe Rose Scolnick ‘25 described the class’ goals for this sale. “We want to leave a special mark before we depart Brimmer, so we’re trying to do other fundraising events that aren’t like anything we’ve done before.”
Claire Fleming ‘25, a senior class representative, agrees.
“I think we wanted to do something for Valentine’s Day because of the big stretch from winter break to spring break; we hope to do a fun event for people, especially with candy.”
