Charlie is a freshman and a new journalist for The Gator. Charlie looks forward to covering stories for the School, especially sports stories as he enjoys playing sports.
Tavio Mares-Van Praag, Sports Editor
Tavio Mares-Van Praag is a 10th grade student in his second year in the newsroom. He enjoys writing and filming sports content. He also enjoys playing and watching soccer along with sailing, snowboarding, and basketball. Tavio runs The Gator‘s sports broadcasting initiative and is a proud producer and commentator for the livestreams.
Livvy Avignon, Chief Illustrator
Livvy is the Chief Illustrator of The Gator. She is excited to bring more art to the newsroom, and to add cartoons to her peers’ stories. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin, reading, and creative writing. She is also a member of the Creative Arts Diploma program with a concentration in visual art.
