The School’s 2025 Homecoming against Boston Trinity Academy on Saturday packed Orr Field, headlined by a 3–0 boys’ soccer victory and a 1–1 girls’ soccer draw against Boston Trinity Academy.
“I had a great time watching both games and enjoying some food with a great atmosphere,” Brady Palladino ’26 said.
An outdoor barbecue run by the kitchen staff offered Gator fans burgers, hot dogs with all the fixings, apple cider, water, and cookies, creating a lively atmosphere for the soccer doubleheader.
The Girls Varsity Soccer team opened the slate against BTA. Alexa Dykeman ’27 scored off a corner kick to give the Gators an early lead. The Gator maintained possession and pressure throughout, but BTA leveled to earn a 1–1 result.
In Boys Varsity Soccer, the Gators started fast with controlled play. Max Hesselbein ’28, Adi Houndegla ’26, and Charlie Young ’29 each scored, securing the win.
“I am so proud of the lads’ teamwork. It was wonderful to see everyone playing and passing incredibly well, and I’m glad we came out on top,” Boys Varsity Soccer Captain Andrew Flint ’26 said.
Girls Varsity Volleyball began the Homecoming weekend Friday at the UMass Amherst Mount Ida campus. In a close five-set match, the Gators and BTA traded points throughout, with Boston Trinity taking the deciding set, 15–13.
From competitive games and steady support to food and the evening dance, Homecoming brought the community together around School athletics.
