With the Hastings Center receiving a permit for occupancy yesterday, students arrived to school today able to explore and learn in the new space. The addition includes an enlarged dining facility, additional classroom space, a new college counseling office, and a state-of-the-art STEAM Lab and Maker Studio, as well as a media center. Spacious hallways will also allow for ideal hangout space, and students will have more quiet areas to collaborate. News of the opening broke last night, when Head of School Judith Guild sent a campus-wide email: “This week will be a very exciting one for your children and their teachers.”
