Recap: 2015 Grammy Awards

Recap%3A+2015+Grammy+Awards

The years’ biggest night in music, seemingly owned by Sam Smith and Beck, aired last week to around 30 million people. The evening was filled with surprising awards, celebrity appearances, and exciting performances.

A highlight for me was Hozier and Annie Lennox’s chilling take on “Take Me To Church” and “I Put A Spell on You.” The Album of the Year went to Beck for his brilliant record Morning Phase. Beck glides effortlessly over the peaceful guitar-based tracks. It’s truly an outstanding accomplishment worthy of its newfound praise.

Sam Smith, a leader in the last years music scene, took home the song of the year for his hit single “Stay With Me,” a beautiful ballad that has seemingly taken over the radio airways.

If you forgot to tune in, see the complete winner list below!
