Tomorrow at 6 pm in the Dining Commons, the School is hosting its annual Coffee House event, with Middle and Upper School students, alumni, and faculty scheduled to perform.
Elias Kazin ’20 is performing at Coffee House for the third time. “Each year, the event improves. If people want to perform but they’re afraid to, they definitely should because it is a super casual event with people just having fun,” Kazin said. “People should definitely come listen and support their friends.”
Cara Rittner ’19 also encouraged students to come and support their peers.
“I am sad that this is my last Coffee House, but I am also bummed that last year I performed for the first time,” she said. “There were so many years I could have done it before. It’s relaxed, fun, and a really great environment. Everyone that goes has a blast.”
Creative Arts Department Chair Bill Jacob is looking forward to the event. “It’s really fun because we have performances from students in many grades and we often get a lot of alumni coming back for this event.”
According to Jacob, this year’s show will last about two hours.
