Admissions Holds In-School Open House

Earlier this month, for the first time in School history, the Admissions Department hosted an Open House that occurred during the school day.

Over 35 applicants and their families attended the event, while over 150 visited during the traditional Sunday Open House.

“We wanted to provide an opportunity for families to experience Brimmer during a school day itself to see teaching and learning in action,” Director of Enrollment Brian Beale said. “We have offered a weekend open house program for many years, so we wanted to try something new and provide programming options that would appeal to a multitude of families with varying schedules.”

Beale also said that the event allowed applicants who could not make the Sunday Open House a chance to see the campus in action. Visitors also toured classes, met teachers, and spoke with administrators.

With the success of the new event, Beale said that he would host a School-day open house again in the future.
