The Gator‘s website underwent a partial redesign last week, led by the incoming Executive Board.

The new layout makes use of the modular widgets designed by SNO SitesThe Gator‘s publishing platform, to condense the front page. Also new is a dedicated Gator Nation News section, which features GIF previews for multimedia stories.

Incoming Co-Editors-in-Chief Natalie Kozhemiakin ’23 and Edan Zinn ’23 are pleased with the site’s new design.

“I appreciate how the new design is both sleek and user-friendly,” Kozhemiakin said. “The organized online format allows readers to easily navigate the site’s content and see all that The Gator has to offer.”

The new layout marks the first redesign since The Gator‘s migration to SNO Sites last year.

“I’m continually thankful for the flexibility and variety of design options provided by SNO Sites,” Zinn said. “The process of redesigning the site was simple and streamlined, and the front page of The Gator looks more like a newspaper with the new layout.”

Adviser David Cutler echoed Zinn’s sentiments, also praising the “admirable initiative” of the new Executive Board.

“Just a few weeks into their term, I am so impressed by the new leadership,” Cutler said. “I love the new design, and it’s always nice to see the new Executive Board put their own unique stamp on the publication. I am extremely impressed.”
