VARSITY 1 BOYS BASKETBALL

Brimmer 70 Worcester 87 (Monday, Nov. 30, 2015)

The Gators traveled to Worcester to open their NEPSAC AA season against Worcester Academy. The Gators struggled defensively throughout the game giving up 87 points en route to an 87-70 loss. Brimmer came alive offensively in the second half where they scored 46 of their 70 points. Worcester showed early in the second when their lead grew to 25 and the Gators battled back to bring the score within 14 with a chance to cut it to 11 or 12. Unfortunately, that would be as close as they got. Adam Mikula ’16 looked in great form as he scored in a variety of ways and led all scorers with 27 points. AJ Reeves ’18 pitched in with 16 points including several acrobatic finishes around the rim. Brimmer looks to get back on track this Friday at home against St. Sebastian’s.

VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL

Brimmer 30 TLC 12 (Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015)

The Gators had a strong first outing yesterday, walking away with a 30-12 win against The Learning Center. Our team’s success came not from the final score but from our team play on offense, the communication on defense, and impressive hustle from start to finish. This scrimmage was a great first step and a whole team effort.
