“The Clock,” by Austin Camiel ’16

The Clock, by Austin Camiel 16

You think you could watch it in slow-mo
But, trust me, can’t move any slower than this, oh?
Sitting, staring, fiddling, “SIT STILL,” nothing new.
One headphone in, two eyes open, three minutes to go.
Been in here for an entire decade but I’ve learned nothing new.
So what can one do?
I’ve tried’ em all: coffee’s okay, but I really love the bitterness.
Sometimes all it takes is a few minutes and a little bit of bliss.
