Shani Breiman ’18, now an entrepreneur, was recently appointed as head coach of the Varsity Girls’ Soccer team.
As a student, Breiman served as Editor-in-Chief of The Gator and made significant contributions to the Varsity Girls’ Soccer team as a standout player.
“It is impossible to choose any one memory as I truly had so many special moments at Brimmer,” Breiman said. “Definitely winning a soccer championship is a memory ingrained in me for life! I hold such special memories from my Winterim trips as well as just the day to day at Brimmer.”
Breiman also remarked on the importance of the skills she developed during her time at Brimmer, noting how they have been instrumental in her professional career.
“The skills I gained as Editor-in-Chief of The Gator are incredibly transferable,” Breiman said, “The number one overarching skill I developed is the power of storytelling. Learning how to communicate concisely, effectively, and most importantly, meaningfully has been such an important asset, especially as an entrepreneur.”
Brieman went on to play soccer at Connecticut College, where she played with current Head Coach Zoe Stublarec.
In college, Breiman majored in economics. She enrolled in Parsons Fashion Online Business Certification alongside her undergraduate degree.
Upon graduating from college, she started her business, Styled By Shani. Her company helps people dress to impress, and she focuses on making the most of her clients wardrobes.
She enjoys the challenges of running a business.
“It is extremely challenging being an entrepreneur and every day brings new challenges,” Breiman said. “However, it is the most fulfilling and rewarding pursuit and I love it wholeheartedly.”
Breiman can regularly be found at SoulCycle and values movement and community.
