Week Fourteen: Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is sensational. In fact, he is one of nine quarterbacks in NFL history to surpass 5,000 passing yards in a season. This season was a down year for the Chargers, who had a 5-8 record under Herbert’s command. Even still, with Herbert, the Chargers were not eliminated from the playoffs. But in Week Fourteen, Herbert fractured his index finger, decimating the Chargers’ playoff hopes. Easton Stick took over, only managing to throw a touchdown in one game, and the Chargers finished the year with four consecutive losses in the absence of their star.
