Outdoor Ed Takes On Franconia Notch
Last weekend, ten students traveled to Franconia Notch, New Hampshire for the latest Outdoor Education trip. After a night at the local Notch Hostel, students hiked Mount Pemigewasset, a 2,557-foot peak listed in Kevin MacGay’s famous “52-With-a-View” list of New Hampshire mountains. With light traction to grip the snow and warm clothes to beat the low temperatures, students enjoyed a summit scenic view and a descent into the icy Flume Gorge, led by trip leader Ted Barker-Hook.

Edan celebrated four years on The Gator's staff. In addition to editing stories, he also took photos for The Gator and was a member of the Creative Arts Diploma Program for Visual Arts. Edan finds photojournalism to be a fun method of artistic storytelling.
