After 25 Years, History Chair Kelly Neely to Depart the School

Lea Abdulnour is a 9th-grade student who loves her culture, watching movies, playing sports, and spending time with her friends and big sister. This is her first semester in the newsroom, and her 11th year at Brimmer and May. Lea loves to write and cannot wait for the years to come with The Gator.

Very bittersweet – I remember Ms. Neely as one of the first teachers who welcomed me to Brimmer in 9th grade history during COVID. Thanks to Ms. Neely’s teaching style, I cultivated an interest in European history and later, Model UN. Good luck with your next endeavors, Ms. Neely!
