Inside the Newsroom: The End of an Era

Yesterday marked the final class period for the senior staff members of The Gator, who will begin senior projects next week.

Under the leadership of Mary Wang, Edward Flint and Gabe Cohen, The Gator experienced a surge in both regional and national recognition, earning awards and expanding its readership.

“I remember each of these student journalists on their first days in the newsroom, and it’s remarkable to see how far they have come,” adviser David Cutler said. “I am certain that they will go on to do amazing things and that they will use their journalism skills to succeed in whatever they pursue in their studies in college and beyond.”
