The Gator is one of the most unique electives at our School, run entirely by veteran student journalists. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Impress potential colleges and employers. Win awards. Learn how to have your voice heard. Grow your leadership skills. Make a difference.
“In Massachusetts, no other independent school, whether day or boarding, supports such a prestigious student newspaper as The Gator, among the most award-winning student publications in America,” Adviser David Cutler said. “This is a testament to the overall quality of education that students receive at Brimmer and May School—not just in the newsroom, but in every classroom.”
Everyone is welcome to join, but 9th and 10 graders are especially encouraged to enroll.
“The youngest students in the newsroom are the most important,” Cutler said. “It’s up to them to keep The Gator alive and thriving.”
