Lea Abdulnour, Arts and Culture Editor

Lea Abdulnour is a 9th-grade student in her first semester with The Gator. She loves VJ Edgecombe on the Philadelphia 76ers, her culture, watching movies, playing sports, and spending time with her friends and sister. This is her first semester in the newsroom, and her 11th year at Brimmer and May. Lea loves to write and cannot wait for the years to come with The Gator.

Before this year’s Gator Games, the School had another cherished tradition: Green and White Day. Launched in the 1980s, it brought all grades together for friendly competition and school pride before quietly fading out in the early 2000s.
