The Middle School is set to premiere This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m and Friday, Dec. 1 at 5:00 p.m.

This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing is written by Finegan Kruckemeyer. Originally hitting the stage in 2011, the play is about three triplet sisters, who are abandoned in the woods by their parents. The story follows the girls from their childhood into their late adulthood, each taking a unique journey.

“My favorite part has been the collaboration,” said Annie Washko 28’, who acts as one of the sisters. “It’s really fun to be able to work with other people and collaborate with other people.”

“The process has been really good,” said Director Caitlin Johnson. “I think the Middle School really likes the show, and they really like working together. So, it’s been a fun process. The number one goal is to have fun and to develop a love for theater, hopefully that they’ll enjoy their time after school and want to do more shows.”

Editors’ note: Admission is free.
