Inappropriate Language in Senior Lounge

On Monday, November 6, Upper School Head Joshua Neudel sent an email reprimanding the seniors for use of derogatory language in the Senior Lounge.

“As the oldest leaders in the school, the expectation is that you will live out our Core Values,” Neudel wrote.

Senate President Baden Howard ’24 understands Neudel’s concerns.

“It’s difficult to find a balance. We want to have a space that seniors can be comfortable, but we also have to be considerate of the fact that Brimmer has a wide range of ages,” Howard said.

Prior graduating classes have also struggled with maintaining appropriate language in the public space.
