In a highly competitive North London derby, week 29 had no shortage of goals or comebacks with West Ham coming back for the win in under 12 minutes. Six top teams also played in match-ups.

On Saturday, Leicester City beat Watford 1:0 to hold onto its first-place spot. The one goal of the game was scored in the second half when a clearing header from Watford landed at the foot of Riyad Mahrez, who took a touch and blasted the ball into the top corner of the net.

Manchester City beat Aston Villa 4:0 in a dominant victory to put them in fourth place. The first goal came from Yaya Toure in the 48th minute, followed by two goals from Sergio Aguero in the 50th and 60th minutes, respectively. The final goal of the match came from Raheem Sterling, who scored in the 66th minute.

Also, the second-place Spurs tied third-place Arsenal 2:2 in one of the most exciting games of the season. A loss would have caused either team to drop in the league table. Arsenal first scored in the 39th minute, with Tottenham storming back for two goals. Finally, in the 76th minute, Arsenal scored again to tie the game.

West Ham played against Everton and won 3:2. Everton first took the lead in the 13th minute when Romelu Lukaku took a shot from the left side of the box and slotted the ball into the bottom right corner. In the 34th minute Kevin Mirallas (Everton) received a red card, which caused his team be a man down for the rest of the game. In the 56th minute, Aaron Lennon (Everton) shot the ball right down the center of the goal into the back of the net to put his team up 2:0. Just when an Everton win seemed inevitable, West Ham scored three goals within 12 minutes for an amazing comeback. The first of three goals occurred in the 78th minute from Michail Antonio from a header into the bottom left corner. The second goal occurred in the 80th minute from Diafra Sakho with another header into the bottom left corner. The last goal to win the game came from Dimitri Payet in the 90th minute, who sent the ball to down the center.

On Sunday, 11th ranked West Brom beat Manchester United 1:0. The turning point of the game occurred in the 25th minute when Juan Mata received a red card for a bad foul. In the 66th minute, with Manchester United playing a man down, Salomon Rondon (West Brom) scored with a left footed shot from the center of the box. This was a bad loss for Manchester United, with both Manchester City and West Ham advancing ahead.
